Dan Crowley aboard the Bulldog out of Riv-iera Beach Marina, offshore dolphin fishing with Capt. Willie Howard from Willies Charters, inshore fishing with Capt. Ron Doerr from Bite Me Charters and drift fishing trips aboard the Miss Blue Heron in Riviera Beach and Living on Island Time in Hypoluxo.Response from members continues to be very posi- Michael Warren- (Ron Doerr trip)tive and every trip has been sold out.During a recent Miss Blue Heron excursion, a variety of reef fish were caught.Lifetime club member Dan Miller was the Big Fish winner with a porgy that weighed nearly 6 pounds.He donated his $200 winnings back to the club to be used for the Reef Dart programthank you Dan!In early March, another drift boat trip was taken on the Living On Island Time.The sold out trip produced a wahoo as well as an assortment of reef fish including a nearly 10 pound mutton snapper.The meaty mutton earned Club member Capt. Dan Kipnis the $200'Big Fish' prize.During all these trips club members receive some WPBFC swag.The drift boat trips feature raffle prizes and a lunch sponsored by our friends at Jimmy Johns which is always well received.Of course, club outings are a wonderful way to get out on the water and do some fun socializing with fellow club members.Stay tuned to the Shane Hunter -WPBFC events calendar and watch for email blasts (Capt.
