Ironically, most of these catches were made by father-son fishing teams last fall. Stephen DeCarlo’s 31 lb. redfish on 20 General tackle was caught last September in the Indian River Lagoon while fish- ing with Capt. Troy Perez. Stephen’s record red breaks a mark that has been in the books for over 50 years! Stephen’s dad, Rick DeCarlo, added to his growing list of club record catches with a hefty black drum in the 20 General tackle category. Late last year Rick also filled the vacant 50 General tackle category for spotted sea trout. Tom and Eddie Twyford teamed up to fill some vacant light tackle categories in the club record book one October day last year while fishing with Capt. Scott Hamilton. All time club records, as well as Big Fish of the Year stand- ings, are posted and regularly updated on the club website and on the All Time Club Record Board inside the clubhouse.
