2015 annual Angling Trophy Winners Ben Wade Beinecke Blue Marlin Trophy Presented annually to the member scoring the most points for blue marlin releases in the Bahamas (100 pts.) and Florida (300 pts.) Tracy Schneider Memorial Trophy Presented annually to the member scoring the highest total points for sailfish releases in Florida waters based on the following point values: caught and released on live bait (100 pts.), dead bait (300 pts.), pure artificial lures (500 pts.), and fly (1000 pts.). Leas International Angling Trophy In memory of Donald S. Leas. Presented annually to the member who makes the most outstanding catch or catches in international waters. Can be fresh or salt water. The Nora Award Presented annually to the member catching the heaviest snook within Florida. John Kazaros Mike Simko Mark Wodlinger  John Kazaros of West Palm Beach took home the WPBFC’s Beinecke Atlantic Blue Marlin Release Trophy. Kazaros released five blue marlin in the Bahamas be- tween March and June of last year to earn the pres- tigious title that has been presented since 1960.  The WPBFC Angling Committee is pleased to recognize the following winners of the club’s 2015 annual trophies. These awards, some of which date back more than 50 years, are highly coveted honors among club members and recognize outstanding angling achievements. * No angler qualified for the Richard Jeck Memorial Tagging award in 2015. The James P. Nora Award for the heaviest snook has been won by Ben Wade of Greena- cres, a 42 year member of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club.  Wade caught, weighed and released his 28 lb. snook on casting tackle while fishing at the Lake Worth Spillway last April. The Nora Award has been presented annually since 1965 by the Nora family. Mike Simko of North Palm Beach captured the Tracy M. Schneider Memo- rial Sailfish Release Trophy in 2015 with 25 releases on live bait (2,500 pts.). Simko edged fellow club members Serena Wilson (2,200 pts.) and Mark Donohue (2,000 pts.) to earn the club's top sailfish release honor.  Lifetime club member Mark Wodlinger of Naples has won the coveted Donald S. Leas III International Angling Trophy in 2015 with a variety of exceptional catches that included over 100 Pacific sailfish and 25 Atlantic sailfish releas- es.  Mark also registered multiple blue marlin, white marlin and tuna in interna- tional waters that included Los Suenos, Costa Rica, Isla Mujures, Mexico and the islands of the Bahamas.
